9.1. Chain Driven Belt

Chain-driven belt is a power transmission system that uses a metal chain to connect two or more pulleys, which are also known as sprockets. The chain is wrapped around the sprockets and when one sprocket rotates, the chain moves and drives the other sprocket, which transfers power and motion to the belt.

The chain model number and cross rod specifications are chosen based on the mesh belt width, length, running speed, and mechanical configuration of the conveyor belt.
